As well, Bay puts strong emphasis on working with Canada’s Indigenous people. Our final source of skilled workers is our International Workforce. Due to Bay’s unique structure, we utilize foreign workers in our US, Canadian and foreign divisions. This provides a series of strategic advantages. Use of the International workers in our US operations allows for thorough evaluation of candidates ensuring only the most proficient tradesman are selected for Canada. We host our international workers at our fabrication facilities while they are working, which enables us to provide Red Seal, HSE and other training. Canadian Work Permits are processed far faster out of the US than overseas.
